iYU Usage Study July 2020 – Feedback
Juillet 2020, 2 mois après la fin du confinement #1.
H7, le superbe lieu Totem de la French Tech. π«π·
There were 23 of them, 9 men and 14 women.
Employees from 10 different companies in the Confluence district, Lyon.
Engaged in a 6-week cycle for 1 iYU session of 20 minutes per week. π
A bit surprised, quite enthusiastic, and above all very curious!
Discover the results of their experience!
In order to understand the users’ feelings, a paper questionnaire was given to them before and after each session. This allowed us to compare different parameters such as emotional state before and after the session, desire to return, satisfactionβ¦ We also asked users to report their inner weather before and after the session. π€π§
Result #1: iYU feels good! Yes! π
In general, users feel much better after their sessions!
Out of 23 users and across all sessions, 89% of them experienced an improvement in relaxation. Calmness increased for 86% of users and mood for 63% of them.π The numbers speak for themselves.
Even stronger: after 2 sessions, relaxation and calmness improve for 92% of users!
Result #2: iYU, an ally to soothe our negative emotions?… Thank you iYU! π
Our users’ negative emotions saw an average decrease of 55% between before and after the session π.
Thanks to the BRUMS questionnaire, we were able to measure the evolution of the emotional state, particularly negative emotions such as tension, anger, depression, and confusion. β
And this, from the very first session! π
Result #3: Does an iYU session make us more positive?… π€π§ββοΈ
We analyzed the lexical fields used by our users before and after the session to describe their state of mind in 3 words. π¬
Before the session, the average number of negative words per person was 0.2. The negative words most frequently used before the session are related to fatigue, stress, and anxiety.
After the session, no more negative words are mentioned: relaxation, serenity, pleasant, relaxing are the words that stand out the most. πββοΈπ
Result #4: Users want more!
In the last session, we asked users about their appetite and engagement: 100% of them enjoyed their sessions and 100% would use it regularly if this solution was available in their company! π
38% of them would like to use iYU 1 to 5 times a week, and 54% of people would use it 1 to 3 times a month or more. The icing on the cake, users gave a score of 8.9/10 to evaluate their desire to come back!
iYU and its users? A true love story!! π
Why adopt iYU in the workplace?
iYU helps to ease users’ muscular tensions (we’ll do a dedicated article on our results from a scientific study conducted at the CHU of St Etienne soon!) but also mental tensions: more serenity, calm, clarity, less stress, confusion, and anger!
iYU is a solution that is always available and accessible to everyone: no need to travel, everything is at the workplace! π§βπ» Just take a 20-minute break to give yourself a moment for yourself, efficient, simple, in complete privacy and safety!
iYU allows offering a solution to each person, adapted to their needs of the moment. Because improving the collective goes through taking into account each individual, iYU is a key partner in a Quality of Work Life approach. β
And the little extra: a few words from our users! π₯°
“One thing I remember is that it’s better afterwards.”
“It’s a robot and yet the touch is very gentle.”
“My desire grew over the sessions. At first, it was more about discovering, and once we discovered, we quickly wanted to come back, we quickly looked forward to the following week”
“The device adapts to the pressure you ask for. So, there’s the ability to put a lot of pressure, which means that the immediate relaxation effects are really strong”
“You get used to it quickly and it’s easily something you look forward to: you can’t wait for it to happen again!”
“One thing I remember is that it’s better afterwards.”
“It’s a robot and yet the touch is very gentle.”
